Lingerie Market Week: A Recap Of Curve NY
Posted on 02 March 2016

Twice a year in New York the Curve Expo comes to town bringing with it 3 glorious days of lingerie mania. Brands fly in from across the globe to show their collections at the Javits Center where buyers from all over come to plan out their purchases for the upcoming seasons. Nowhere else in the US will you find such a high concentration of lingerie buyers, designers, bloggers, writers, planners & photographers in one place. And if you enjoy the socializing, networking and celebrity sightings as much as I do then you look forward to these 3 days like a kid counting down to Christmas.

This year my entrepreneurial duties were called upon so I ended up limited to just 2 days of touring the expo floor. I planned to make those 2 days count! I went in there with a strategic game plan to visit with as many current suppliers as I could and still have enough time to check out some of the newcomers (my favorite part). After those 2 days of running around the show I found myself with armloads of catalogs, blistered feet and a good idea of what new styles WonderLust will be carrying this fall. The excitement more than made up for my lack of sleep while catching up with my fellow lingeristas left me feeling refreshed and inspired.

While there were so many brands I wish I could buy, WonderLust’s funds don’t grow on trees so I had to keep my game plan on a strict budget. But with all the fun stuff to choose from you can be sure this year will bring some exciting newness to our shop.
